What do Zimbabwe, New Orleans and Bat Yam have in common?

In this case, these 3 places were stops along the way in the making of Aliyah for a young man by the name of Zachary Elkaim.  Zachary was born in Zimbabwe, went to College at Tulane University in New Orleans and while the school was temporarily shut down due to the damage caused by Hurricane Catrina, Zachary was able to attend Tel Aviv University on a scholarship.  After finishing at Tel Aviv University, Zachary was hooked on living in Israel.  He returned to finish his studies in New Orleans then shortly thereafter in 2008, made Aliyah.

Have an Aliyah idea to share?

I just discovered a very interesting web page that you might want to visit whether you have already made Aliyah or are considering doing so in the future.  It’a a website sponsored by Nefesh B’Nefesh which allows you to submit your “Aliyah idea” to share with others and can be used as a great resource to learn more about making Aliyah as well.
